Team Lead DevOps

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Kubernetes: Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and management
  • OpenStack: Solid experience with OpenStack cloud infrastructure
  • Infrastructure as Code: Expert knowledge of IaC principles and tools like Terraform and Vault
  • Version Control: Proficient in Git, with experience using GitLab and other version control systems
  • CI/CD: Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLabCI or similar tools
  • Networking and Configuration Management: Deep understanding of networking concepts and proficiency in tools like Nginx and Ansible
  • Monitoring and Logging: Expertise in deploying and maintaining robust monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix) and log aggregation solutions (EFK Stack, Grafana Stack)
  • Programming: Familiarity with PHP development is advantageous

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases
  • Messaging: Knowledge of message broker systems like Kafka

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Provisioning: Configure and manage infrastructure on various Linux distributions
  • CI/CD Optimization: Continuously improve and maintain the existing CI/CD pipeline
  • Kubernetes Deployment: Deploy and manage self-hosted Kubernetes clusters
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems
  • Infrastructure Analysis: Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement
  • Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
  • Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Onboarding: Mentor and guide new team members
  • Architectural Decision-Making: Contribute to architectural decisions and select appropriate tools
  • Standardization: Promote consistent practices and standards
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex issues and propose innovative solutions
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline processes
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of DevOps engineers
